Multiple light sources. \n\n\n\n\nThis is a practical session so please bring your camera and speedlight and any (small) light modifiers if you have them. This will mostly be an off camera flash session although we can look at some limited shaping done with on camera flash.

DESCRIPTION:Group show and tell (10-15 minutes) where we can show an image or two and talk about how the photographer achieved it using flash or controlling available light. \nTonight we will be looking at controlling natural light with modifiers (cheap) and using flash for fill so please bring along cameras and flash (if you have one).

DESCRIPTION:Join us for our March photowalk\, we will be visiting the Moomba activities on the Yarra\, followed by early dinner/drinks then fireworks (optional). The fireworks is scheduled for 9.30pm (it will run for 5-10 minutes\, we will setup around 8.30pm) \nWe will meet outside Hamer Hall then start with a walk along the Yarra and Alexandra Gardens area\, along Swan St bridge\, and returning to Fed Square past the water skiing and carnival area. \nWe welcome all photographers – bring along your favourite camera: digital\, film\, phone\, Polaroid etc. \nAll visitors\, friends and members of the Melbourne Camera Club are welcome. \nCasual drinks/dinner will be at a city pub\, followed by fireworks from Birrarung Marr. \nWhat to bring:\n• Tripod for fireworks\n• Spare battery as long exposures can drain batteries quickly\n• Warm clothing as we will be waiting around for the fireworks \nDate: Sunday 8 March\nTime: 3.15pm for 3.30pm start\nMeeting location: Outside Hamer Hall\, Arts Centre\, 100 St Kilda Rd – across the bridge from Flinders St Station\nParking: Fed Square car park: $16.00 flat rate for weekend\nPublic transport is recommended\, as the city will be busy with the Moomba festival\, International Women’s Day activities\, and cricket at the MCG\nDuration: 5-6 hours\, including dinner and fireworks \n
